Before merging into Securities America and teaming up with Tridea Advisors, Jim served as an investment representative for 26 years with Edward Jones, Raymond James, and KMS. Jim has navigated both market highs and lows to give him a unique perspective on portfolio management. He has developed three Unit Investments Trusts in the First Trust platform.
In 1982, Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Managerial Economics from UC Davis. He received his MBA in Finance from National University in 1987. Jim has an Accredited Investment Fiduciary ® certification from fi360. He holds Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses. Jim currently serves on the DJUSD Measure M Bond oversight committee.
