Upon graduation from the University of North Dakota, Steve moved to California. He began his investment industry career with Thomson McKinnon Securities in San Francisco in 1983. Steve had a distinguished institutional career from 1989 to 2005 with a variety of companies including Security Benefit Group and Nationwide Financial prior to his acquisition of Auburn Tridea. He is the CEO of Tridea Advisors and provides investment advice to individuals as well as institutions and retirement plans. Steve resides in Lincoln with his wife, Darlene, and enjoys an occasional round of golf.
